Saturday May 25th 2024 - FVMBA + Muddbunnies Bridge Building Workshop[8:30am]
This workshop is co-hosted by the Muddbunnies and FVMBA and welcomes all women, regardless of where they fall on the gender spectrum, including trans and non-binary individuals who see a women's workshop as a place where they feel comfortable.
The West Coast of BC is famous for its stunts: ladder bridges, skinnies, drops and more. Curious about why cedar is the preferred wood of choice for trail builders? Join us to learn about building bridges,boardwalks & other creative wood features! This workshop covers the design principles, trail standards, construction techniques, and assessment of wood technical trail features. Includes a morning classroom session & an afternoon of on-trail instruction.
