Make sure the lock goes around the frame (not just a chain) The locks are "insured" and the company does pay out if they get broken and the bike stolen. the bigger the lock the larger the $$$ value it covers.

I should clarify... We're looking for insurance that covers the bikes when they are home. Rental insurance/home insurance tends to not cover bikes so an additional coverage is necessary. I don't think we want to deal with locks on our bikes when they sit at home...

Hi Sarah - not sure if you still need help on this, but most home insurance policies will provide coverage up to a small limit (usually about $2500) - anything over that, you can schedule it on your policy for an additional premium. I'd recommend going to any insurance broker near you and they can explain the coverage to you and your options. Feel free to PM me if you've got any questions (I work for an insurance company) :)

Cool! Thanks for the recommendation. I am going to call the bike shops in Guelph, ON and see if they carry it.

Bike insurance is very helpful for the user. because it will helpful for our future or our family. in the case any accidents they will pay up to 60% cash, in case if anyone will die means they will give a huge amount. So my suggestion is all will do insurance.
